This pic was taken Day 1 in Ghana. Before I was able to take it all in, I couldn’t help but wonder why I still lived in America. The closest comparison to how I live in NYC vs. how I live in Ghana can easily be depicted in the movie “Coming to America” starring Eddie Murphy.
Forever 21 Hat and Sandals // River Island Dress // Aldo Sunnies // Primark Clutch // H&M Earrings
When I was in London two weeks ago, I bought this amazing dress from River Island’s sale. (Vacation Haul coming soon) I knew it would work perfectly in Ghana. Although I arrived to Ghana at 5am, while it was still dark, by the time I was cleared by customs, immigration, etc. I was welcomed by the sun & humidity! The best part about vacationing back home is living care free in George’s big ol’ home. It’s really annoying how big it is. Like seriously, why do I need 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms? Why do I need all this yard space? Why do I need a mango, coconut, and orange tree! Totally kidding. I always feel like Annie in Daddy Warbucks’ mansion.
My time in Ghana is coming to an end. I’ll be honest, I miss New York. Actually just free wifi and my godson Amir.
-Be blessed
