Today is going to be a “sit- at- my- desk -most- of- the -day” day at work. I’m really pushing the corporate dress code envelope with this look. Funny enough, as I was getting dressed this morning, I started snickering because I just KNEW I was playing myself. I mean what’s the worse that could happen? They fire me for dressing inappropriately? Collecting Unemployment doesn’t sound too bad of an idea, come to think of it. I’d just have to stop shopping as my checks will go straight to the mortgage and rest of the bills lol….

I bought these gingham shoes in London last summer; only wore it about two times as I was having a hard time styling it. Then when I saw these gingham trousers in H&M retailing at $14.95 I knew they would match perfectly. Can’t find them online but its the new spring collection so you’ll see it in stores. Being that my outfit is quite busy from the waist down, I’m wearing a solid white top and orange jacket for that additional pop of color. In the office, I have on a navy blue Topshop double-breasted blazer (similar/ not similar in price lol).
