Testimony Tuesday: Your Dreams Aren’t For Everyone

In the upcoming year, I am mastering the art of keeping my dreams to myself.

Dress: here  and here; Boots: here and love these, Coat: Here ; Watch: Here

Three years ago, I learned a great deal about dreams. Just recently while in my house in Ghana, I had to look over all of my notes pertaining to the subject because of how complex my dreams usually are. My dreams are hardly ordinary; it is typically the way God speaks to me.

To define dreams, they are supernatural (believe it or not) revelations that can give the dreamer the understanding of natural events. They are sometimes shaped by our natural life routines, sometimes messages from God, and sometimes even messages from the devil. It takes discernment and wisdom to determine the source of a dream.

In any event, dreams are private… and they should be kept as secrets; unless you’re sharing your dream with someone who can interpret it for you.  The reason for this is because, even people with the best of intentions, are limited by their own understanding of things. And sometimes people can envy you based on a dream you had. So the best way to protect yourself from said instances is to keep them private. And if you’re having trouble understanding the meaning of your dreams, seek God to give you the interpretation.

God willing, as we approach the New Year, remember to keep your dreams and aspirations protected! It isn’t everyone who will (1) understand, (2) interpret, (3) support, or (4) rightly guide you on how to move forward with your dreams!

Happy Holidays!
