On this day, I wore red, white, and blue, and hadn’t realized how patriotic I looked. As a result, I titled this post, Patriot.
As I so often do (no shame), I researched the actual meaning of a patriot which is a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors. And yeah, I guess you can say that’s me. Except I’m becoming patriotic about body, soul, and spirit as my country; willing to vigorously support it; and defend it against the plans and devices of enemies (the enemy).
In this New Year, I want all that I think, say and do to be focused on my support and defense of my country. Not just on my blog, but in every facet of my life. I’m committed to a modest lifestyle, beginning with how I present myself on this blog. Hope you’ll join along?
