I know the Holy Spirit talks to you, girl. Ask HIM what HE feels about you wearing hair from other humans. You have your glory (your own hair) on your crown. Why wear someone else’s? You know I love you…xoxo

I’m almost 700% certain the HS doesn’t care what I wear on my head. We are both spirit beings. God is Spirit. When we get to Heaven, the natural hair or human hair won’t matter! God gives us choices to make. It is up to us to use wisdom as to what choice to make. Love you too.

I’m glad you’ve given this consideration, and you are listening to the Holy Spirit. What you hear directly from Him on this issue is what matters, not what I or any other school of thought say. So I am glad you are listening. Much love!!

My sister, the HS is not going to tell me what to do to my hair. Just like He won’t tell me when to brush my teeth. He gives me the WISDOM to make the right decision. And if I lack wisdom, I can ask for it from Above. Dare I even say the HS won’t even tell you to go to Heaven? He will present life and death and tell you to make the choice. ❤️

Hmmn. I understand where you are coming from. But the Holy Spirit DOES tell some people what to do with their hair, and what to wear. I am fortunate enough to be one of those. Although HE has not told me when to brush my teeth yet, I don’t doubt that HE would direct some people in that area (brushing teeth) on some certain occasions. Being in tune with the Holy Spirit and listening to the still voice is prime. I agree wisdom is profitable to direct, but should the Holy Spirit speak specifically to us on a certain issue, we should avail ourselves to listen and heed.

Right- I’m not there when the HS spirit speaks to you but I think we have concluded that your personal convictions about wearing human extensions are not mine. In any event, have a blessed day sis! Thanks for your continuous support!

I used to be one of those who would look at christians taking some radical decisions about hair and clothing and think “We are in a dispensation of grace, these rules shouldn’t apply to us as christians”, but when the Holy Spirit started talking to me, I was surprised. But that is my personal relationship with the Holy Spirit, and I am not trying to say the same rules apply to you. I just say this to let you know that in some cases, the Holy Spirit might speak to us on some parts of our lives that we consider to be small and inconsequential.

Nothing the HS says to me is ever considered small or inconsequential. But listen, Wisdom the principal thing. I am a corporate professional. I am a fashion/lifestyle blogger. I know where the LORD is preparing me to go. I have an extremely busy schedule. Certain hairstyles are for convenience. Plus I’ve taken all into consideration. And so using wisdom, I know that certain decisions I make concerning my appearance can help or hurt me on the journey to my destiny. Wearing these particular natural hair extensions can never hurt me on my journey. In fact, the hair you see on this post was made for me by a hair stylist and hair boutique owner. She is actually a sister in Christ. And this week I’ll be dedicating an entire blog post to our partnership. The hair isn’t in a radical style. The hair isn’t in a radical color. And so it cannot particularly affect my destiny or where I am going. We have to be careful to not give ear to certain popular dialects in the world that can lead to us thinking something is or is not the will of God. In your first comment, you called my hair my crown. If your statement had any reference to scripture talking about the woman’s head, I’m curious to know how you interpret that scripture; bc I know it’s typically misinterpreted .

I’m not very good at going back and forth with people, that’s one reason I’m always so grateful I never studied law. My point = listen to the Holy Spirit. I have said that in many different ways, that it makes me uncertain why I detect a tiny little bit of anger and irritation in your tone. I believe we have both made our points, and lest this become a carnal ambition to prove each of our points, I suggest we give this issue a rest.

To your response at 11:14am, you sound a bit riled up. This is a conversation in love, it is not an attack on your person. I will have a blessed day, thank you, and I hope you do too!!
