WHAT I’M WEARING:
Dress: Helmut Lang for Intermix (old) ; Shoes: Public Desire ; Bracelet: Forever 21 (old) ; Hair: FingerComber (use promo JUSTMISSEDTHERUNWAY at checkout for express shipping)
Before we get started, let me just say this look is free! The dress was priced at $30 and the shoes at $8, BUT I sold some clothes at one of my favorite consignment shops and used some of the credit to purchase the dress and heels. Talk about styling on a budget!
This post is probably my favorite fashion shoot in all of my 4 years of blogging. Something about this look (from hair to toe) seems so effortless and elegant. I really love how a simple dress and sandal heel can really transform you into an elegant queen 😉
As I was editing these photos, I started thinking about the cosmetic surgery I’d get if I had the money. I know so many people are against cosmetic surgery and in support of “loving yourself.” But who says wanting to enhance something on your being is an indication that you don’t love yourself? Believe it or not, I am a true advocate for enhancing, adding and subtracting things on your body. I just don’t have the funds to do so… YET.
But I thought it would be fun to discuss what surgeries I would get if given the opportunity:
- Nose job + fillers + botox.
I don’t have an issue with the size of my nose. I just think it’s too big for MY face. My size nose could probably work on someone else’s face, but for me, I’d want to shrink the size. Not necessarily the width, just the size. I also want fillers/botox in my smile lines and under eyes to get rid of the bags and wrinkles. I honestly don’t even know if fillers/botox will get the job done but I feel like I’ve heard some wealthy people discuss both options before.
2. Vitamin /chemical injections
I’ve heard of people getting vitamin and chemical injections to even their skin tone. Whichever cosmetic surgery evens skin tone, sign me up! I have discoloration and hyper-pigmentation throughout my entire body and my neck is significantly darker than my face. So these injections will really make me overjoyed lol.
3. Ear Cartilage surgery
Not exactly sure when this happened, but my right ear cartilage is so weak, and the earring holes have stretched to the point of tearing. I’ve heard that you can get the ear repaired, but folks say it will just tear again. Its the only reason I haven’t done it yet.
4. Breast Augmentation
I’m tired of looking like a boy with my B cup. I know that by the grace of God, children will help me in this department. But I don’t want to face the risk of having saggy b cups post breast- feeding lol. A nice lift will have me looking trim and woman’ly.
5. Tummy Tuck / Brazilian Butt Lift
…because who wouldn’t want the fat removed from their mid section? What the doctor does with the fat is my issue. I need not have my stomach fat re-purposed to my rear end. I am fully endowed in that department. Just throw the fat away and I’ll be happy.
This post was simply for kicks and giggles. Please do not share below why I need to accept how God made me, etc. etc.
I am happy with my body BUT should I come across millions, don’t say I didn’t warn you about my plans to enhance my beauty lol. All of the celebrities you drool over get the same work done, so please allow me to dream lol…
By the way, my fiance disapproves of all the above work so this is just wishful thinking lol.
