If you’re anything like me, as soon as Fall begins, you’re looking forward to Christmas music, Christmas cheer, and holiday fashion. Although I’m not a big holiday celebrator, I’m beginning to appreciate them more as I think about starting my own family.

The easiest way to get into the holiday spirit is to wear festive colors and rich textures. I’ve always had an affinity for rich textures; you, know, the ones your grandmother may love. My friends often told me I have grandma style- whatever that means.

This crochet -knitted sweater, believe it or not, was purchased 9 years ago. I love how chic and festive it makes my outfit look. I paired it with a black turtleneck and metallic trousers to compliment this red and gold wool coat- which is my favorite coat in the entire world. If you’re wondering if you need a bold red coat, the answer is yes you do. It takes an otherwise casual look and make it pop.

Have a great weekend!
