Rounding up the best places to shop for maternity/maternity friendly wear.
WHAT I’M WEARING:
Denim Top: Banana Republic ; Jeans: Old Navy Maternity ; Sandal Heels: Michael Kors ; Bag: Primark (same one here)
As I mentioned on my Instagram last week, I find maternity clothing to be pretty underwhelming. I haven’t really found too many stores that offer maternity style that resonates with my own personal style at my comfortable price point.
I used to look at Meghan Markle’s maternity style and assume I’d look and dress just like her. Well…my bank account determined that’s a LIE.
In any event, I have found four brands who carry amazing maternity fashion at affordable prices. Below are the stores with some of my favorite finds that I’ve recently purchased!
- ASOS
I recently purchased the above items on major sale. I’ve found dresses to be my comfort zone while pregnant. They hardly put pressure on my abdomen and it’s just easier to style. As my belly grows, everything gets tighter, including my intimate wear. Dresses with stretch components are always clutch and have been working for me as the months go by!
2. Old Navy
Old Navy has really been my go-to store for casual maternity clothes. Their maternity jeans are the first things I purchased in my first trimester as none of my jeans fit any longer. While I typically wouldn’t wear body con dresses to my corporate office, I wear these Old Navy ones styled with a more conservative blazer for comfort.
3. GAP
Okay, if I’m really honest with you I haven’t shopped the GAP maternity collection much. I’ve been shopping baby GAP far more! (Let me know if you’re interested in what I’ve been buying). But anytime I’ve popped into stores or visited the site, I’ve always found maternity friendly options. I really prefer this over maternity clothes because that only means I’ll be able to wear it after I deliver!
4. Motherhood Maternity
You look adorable!
