It’s no secret my eyes are immediately drawn to shiny and expensive things. But thank God for my husband who serves as an accountability partner when I want to unnecessarily splurge on a material item.
The idea of “high street fashion” originates from the United Kingdom. It’s a saying that refers to easily accessible fashion on ordinary busy streets vs. the one- off luxe items you’d typically see in designer stores.
Some of my favorite high street fashion stores are H&M and Zara because they are notorious for copying luxury styles but offering them at far more affordable prices. I really love H&M because they often collaborate with high end designers to give customers an opportunity to rock designer pieces for a fraction of the price. (Target is great at this, too.)
Asymmetrical tops have been trending for quite a Long time. They’re a great way to make a statement with your outfit without doing too much. This H&M top retails at $9.99, and the fabric stretches- which is great for women like me with protruding bellies.
My trousers are a designer collab collection with Giuliva Heritage. Gotta be honest- I never heard of them prior to buying these trousers. But after some research, I see that the designer is pretty expensive. These trousers were on sale for $8.99. But If you don’t have any luck online, check your local H&M stores!
I’ve loved the Alaia Bombe heels for so long; but not enough to pay $1300 for them. Was so excited to find these Sam Edelman dupes from Lord & Taylor on sale. FYI- many Lord & Taylor locations are closing. My location currently has 40-60% off the entire store. Thought you should know 🙂
Happy Shopping… on a budget!
