For some time now, I have been refining my personal style to be classic, modest, and luxury. For the past few months, I’ve been hosting closet sales and selling lots of the stuff I own to make room for better quality and more classic pieces.
There’s no denying I love nice things…designer things included. But my new life requires me to be smart about the things I wear. In the past most of my days were spent in a corporate setting or in church, but these days I need more elevated basics, quality casual pieces and comfortable shoes.
I decided to get these Christian Louboutin Hot Chick pumps because I love how classic loubs are and the scalloped sides are my favorite. I owned a taller pair a few years ago but sold it because I was no longer interested in the rounded toe style. These come in a shorter heel height and are far more comfortable than the So Kate pumps I currently have. I bought them in this nude color because I knew it would pair well with so many things in my wardobe…and yes I plan to style it dressed down more often than dressed up.
I now have linen button down shirts in almost every classic color. They’re lightweight, rich in appearance, and so easy and flexible to style.
