Dressing Down Pleated Skirts

If you’re no stranger to my blog and my personal style, then you know aside from blazers, my next favorite article of clothing is a pleated skirt. For a long time, I only really wore them to church because they seemed so formal and dressy. But recently I started wearing the clothes I love every day. This is my favorite pleated skirt from a brand called House of Harlow 1960. I scored it at Marshalls or TJ Maxx. My memory escapes me. But I paired it with a Vince white cotton tee that is so soft and comfortable. It’s pricey for a t-shirt but it’ll last the test the time. And it’s important to invest in basics. Keeping the accessories black leather, with my Oran sandals and my new vintage Bally flap bag that’s an amazing alternative to the more pricier Chanel or Celine flaps. I couldn’t find a link to this vintage one; but the newer ones are still beautifully made!
